When we opened in 1946, Bay State College offered only 1 career path to those looking to attend college. Today we offer 3 Bachelors Degree programs and 13 Associate Degree programs that vary in diversity as much as our student population. Campus Information
Bay State College has a main campus and 2 satellite campuses in Massachusetts. 750 full and part time students are currently attending Bay State College in pursuit of their college degree, some of which reside in our beautiful Brownstone dorms. Clubs and Organizations are available for students to keep them engaged in the student community, and our off-campus gym affiliation allows membership for all students of Bay State College. Students can remain technologically engaged through the use of our campus computer labs, and our campus dining hall is easily accessible from any of our Brownstones.
Class Formats
Campus:
Bay State College students are given the option of enrolling in on-campus courses. Some students feel more comfortable in a traditional classroom setting. You have immediate access to our outstanding faculty and to our campus computer labs.
Online/Hybrid:
Bay State College's hybrid courses combine both on-campus and online courses, which offers the most flexibility for the student. Our Associate of Science degree program in Business Administration is now being delivered in a hybrid format. Students are able to complete courses on-campus with supplemental materials and courses available online. This is an accelerated program, so students can earn their college degree within 20 months.
Bay State College operates on a Semester calendar, and our students attend college either part-time or full-time. For even greater flexibility, our Evening and Continuing Education Division offers accelerated 8-week courses throughout the year.
Affordability
- Full time tuition per year, at a minimum of 12 credits, is $18,925.
- The Physical Therapy Assistant program is $20,528.
- Residency room and board are available at an added cost $11,130.
Bay State College's Evening and Continuing Education Division offers accelerated 8-week courses throughout the year:
- $699 for a 3 credit course
- $932 for a 4 credit course
More than half of Bay State College students receive some form of financial aid. Our financial Aid staff assists you with scholarships and grants, loans, employer reimbursement, payment plans or a combination that works best for you. Upon admission, a Bay State representative will work with you to create a personalized financial plan.
Support
Bay State College students are given Academic Advisors who assist you in completing an Action Plan. This Action Plan will help you to gain insight and remain focused on your career goals; you will find yourself updating and revising your Action Plan as you continue to progress through your chosen degree program. Bay State College's Career Services Team is proud to boast a 100% job placement rate in 2007. This means that because of their hard work and dedication, 100% of graduating students found job placement within 6 months.
Bay State College offers unlimited, lifetime career placement, and Career counseling is available throughout your entire enrollment at Bay State College. We will help prepare you with career management counseling, workshops, guest speakers, and much more.
Internships are available for Bay State College students to gain entry-level experience and a first-hand edge in their chosen field of study.
Bay State College's faculty is experienced in their subject content with over 50% holding advanced and/or doctoral degrees. Each faculty and staff member views it as a personal obligation to personally assist each student in preparing for and attaining their career, personal and academic goals. An 18:1 teacher-to-student ratio allows our faculty to remain consistently involved with students on an individual basis.
