Brooks Institute has two beautiful and inspirational California campuses.
Our Santa Barbara campus is spread throughout a five-mile radius and includes more than 30 studios, 6 digital labs and well over a million dollars of equipment that’s easily accessible for student use. Considering all the perks of the Santa Barbara campus, we can guarantee our students attending it are working and learning in one of the finest facilities worldwide. Brooks Institute’s Santa Barbara campus overlooks the Harbor and hosts magnificent gallery openings and receptions—so no matter whether you’re looking inside or outside the Santa Barbara Campus, you’ll be astonished and inspired!
Originally a motion picture studio, our Ventura Campus is spread across 8 acres and contains our Film and Video Production, Visual Journalism and Graphic Design programs. The Ventura Campus includes a back lot, swing sets and sound stages, editing labs, our Library and Café for your comfort and convenience.

Class Format
At Brooks Institute, some of our Bachelor of Arts degrees can be completed in as little as three short years! We offer year round program options that fit into most students’ already hectic schedules. We feature small classes and industry-standard equipment, so what you learn and practice on in a Brooks Institute classroom is the same you’ll work on in the “real world.” Much time is spent in labs and building the hands-on skills you’ll actually use in your career—you won’t waste valuable hours stuffed into a boring lecture hall—you’ll be doing the things students at other schools only get to hear about!
