We at Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy are firm believers in the transformational power of massage therapy. Due to this belief, we work hard to make sure our students are the most prepared to help enhance the lives of your eventual clients. We provide students with well-rounded holistic training and stress the connections uniting the mind, body and heart.
Campus Information:
We offer three convenient campus locations in Connecticut, including: Newington (with a full-time massage therapy program), Groton (specializing in spa massage), and Westport (specializing in clinical massage). Each campus features resource libraries, student computers, and a variety of fully-equipped classrooms.
Class Format:
 Although all classes have a reading component requirement so that you know the basics of why certain things work and don't work in massage, much of your learning will include practicum where you can truly put what you know into action. We believe hands-on learning is best in the kinesthetic study of massage and we provide many opportunities for students to learn. In some campus locations and programs, certain students may qualify to participate in clinical education experiences in association with recognized hospitals.

Support:
From our "Discovery Workshop" where interested students get to explore the setting and give and get a complimentary massage to our study skills workshops, PLUS study groups and supportive guidance and resources, at Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy our students receive ongoing support. We can provide students with graduates who return as program mentors, as well as creating opportunities for students to receive specialized tutoring.
